- Do I buy the lights or do you lease them?
- We lease the lights to you for the season. That means no upfront hardware cost, no storage, no tangled strands, and no replacement bulbs to buy. If anything fails, we replace it free. You get a professional display without owning a single strand.
- Are you insured?
- Yes — full general liability and workers' compensation. We provide certificates of insurance to homeowners, HOAs and commercial property managers on request.
- Will the clips damage my roof or gutters?
- No. We use non-penetrating clips designed for shingles, gutters and trim. Nothing is stapled, nailed or glued to your home.
- Do you install lights on two-story and steep-roof homes?
- Yes. Our crews are trained and equipped for steep pitches and multi-story homes, and we use lifts for tall commercial facades.
- What's the difference between temporary and permanent Christmas lights?
- Temporary displays lease custom-cut C9 or mini-LED strands installed each fall and removed in January. Permanent lighting is a discreet RGB LED track mounted under your eaves that stays up year-round and changes color from an app — Christmas, Halloween, game days or everyday warm white.
- Do you offer commercial Christmas lighting?
- Yes — storefronts, restaurants, offices, churches, HOA entrances and multi-property portfolios. We lease the display, maintain it free all season, and remove it in January.
- What exactly is included in the lease price?
- One fixed seasonal price covers the on-site design consultation and measurements, commercial-grade LED bulbs and custom-cut wire, all clips and timers, installation by insured crews, unlimited in-season service calls, January takedown, and labeled off-season storage at our shop. There is no separate charge for repairs, replacement bulbs, or storage bins, and you never own or transport any hardware.
- What happens if a strand fails in the middle of December?
- Call or text (865) 270-4063 and we come out and fix it at no charge, usually within 48 hours. Because the lights are leased, bad bulbs, failed strands and wind or ice damage are our responsibility. That is the main practical reason customers choose a lease over buying a display outright.
- Do you damage the roof, gutters or trim?
- No. We use non-penetrating clips sized to your specific gutter, shingle or trim profile. Nothing is stapled, nailed or screwed into the house. Clips are removed with the lights in January, so there is nothing left behind on the roofline through the rest of the year.
- Can I choose the colors and bulb style?
- Yes. Most Maryville homes go with warm white for a classic look or cool white for a crisper, more modern effect, and plenty of customers use classic multicolor C9 bulbs. You can mix styles by area, such as warm white on the roofline with color on wrapped trees. Colors are locked in at the consultation.
- Do I need to be home for the install or takedown?
- No, as long as we have access to the property and to exterior outlets. We confirm the install window ahead of time and text when the crew is on the way. Takedown is scheduled through January and also does not require you to be there.
- How is a second season different from the first?
- It costs less and goes faster. Your strands are already cut to your rooflines and stored labeled with your address, so the crew is not measuring or fabricating on site. Most repeat customers also expand the display slightly each year, adding trees, columns or walkway accents.
- Are you insured?
- Yes. We carry liability and workers compensation coverage and will provide a certificate of insurance on request. Ask any lighting company for one before they set a ladder against your house, especially for two-story or steep-slope work.
- Do you light commercial properties and HOA common areas?
- Yes. Commercial work is bid per property and typically scheduled first because runs are longer and many businesses want lights burning by early November. We handle storefronts, office parks, multi-building sites, monument signs, subdivision entrances and HOA common areas, with installation outside business hours when needed.
